I was really disappointed when I read about the whole Sigg cover up. I use a Kleen Kanteen and I love it. My husband has a Sigg, but he was lucky and got one of the new liners before they made the big "announcement." Unfortunately, just this past weekend when trying to put the lid on it, the liner from the threaded neck portion of the bottle pulled out in a tiny little curlie-que so now the neck has no lining at all. I wonder how it will hold up now that a portion of the liner has essentially fallen off, not to mention that when he drinks out of it the water is passing over bare aluminum. I mean, there's a reason they put that liner in there in the first place. Right? It's all so frustrating and upsetting.

I bought a BPA Free plastic bottle made by Camelbak a while back and have been happy with that. There's a straw component so you don't have to screw anything on and off which I really like. It is disappointing for Sigg to have duped us for so long!
